Everything we produce is made from scratch and crafted by hand in our kitchen in Dallas, TX. Cookie dough is made daily, custom cookies are rolled and cut out to order and everything is baked fresh each morning.
We have 12 different cookie flavors that are kept in stock regularly: Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal raisin, Oatmeal chocolate chip, Texas turtle, Peanut butter pretzel, White chocolate macadamia, M&M, Snickerdoodle, Lemon drop, Brookie, Sprinkle and our rotating Cookie of the Month. There’s also the two nourishing nibbles – Lactation and Protein cookie.
In 2016, Christina and her dad, Greg, purchased Great One Cookie Company with the hopes of turning this unique cookie company into a successful family business.
Christina went to TCU and majored in Nutrition. As a registered dietitian working with clients on meal plans or food choices, she started to notice she really preferred and enjoyed the culinary side of nutrition more than any other area. She also had a passion for small business.
In 2018, Christina's youngest sister, Alex, became the Pastry Chef at Great One Cookie Company. Her culinary journey started at the Culinary Institute of America in New York in 2009 where she spent four years learning pastry immediately followed by working at MARS in their research and development department. Craving mentorship from a Chef, she moved to New York City and spent a year on the line at Craft by Tom Colicchio. In October 2014, she moved back home to Texas and took a job with Kate Weiser Chocolate. Alex spent two and a half years there and in that time, progressed from cook to sous chef. After having a baby in December 2017, Alex spent time helping out at the family cookie shop and realized she had a passion for cookies.
As of February 2019, Alex and Christina own Great One Cookie Company together.
Because of our their backgrounds, they’ve been able to combine nutrition and cookies to offer some pretty unique creations.
The "Nourishing Nibbles" include a lactation cookie that helps new moms produce milk more efficiently. They also added a gluten-free oatmeal chocolate chip cookies as well as a peanut butter chocolate protein cookie (also gluten-free) that contains 12g of protein.
As of today, they still work side by side, with Alex running production and Christina focusing on marketing & sales.
Along with adding unique products, we also feel like we've mastered shipping within the United States and occasionally send cookies internationally. Packaging and shipping are important to us so we can share these creations and allow people to send something special that arrives beautifully.
We believe our cookies are so great that they will be the one and only cookie you’ll ever want after tasting your first bite. In the past few years, we have increased our client base as well as added on products like custom cookies, cookie cakes, & monthly subscription boxes.
Because of the overwhelming positive response to our custom creations like our iced sugar cookies, we now have partnerships with many amazing brands including Neiman Marcus, Williams Sonoma and more.
